Stephan Barclays 1961.
Stephen Barclay first came to prominence in the 1980’s as one of the internationally acclaimed “New Glasgow Boys”. His paintings have been exhibited worldwide and are held in major public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York the Deutsche Bank and the Gallery of Modern Art in Australia. It may not be to everyone’s taste but his skill as a contemporary artist shines through and if you are a fan then you cannot do much better than this, it is a well-proportioned size nice and is bright, it makes a great talking point for any house.,

Sir Kyffin Williams 1918-2006
I had to fight very hard to get hold of this, it was the last of five sketches that came from a folder left to his gardener, the other sketches went for far more than I could afford but I got the last one. His paintings are now getting close to hitting a hundred thousand pounds and more, his value is only going one way and that is up.

Fred Yates 1922-2008
This is a charming little oval painting, painted when Yates was based at the picturesque town of Fowey in Cornwall (70s and 80s), it shows his brilliance at fast outdoor impressionist painting. He has recently appeared on Antiques Roadshow and has several books dedicated to him, this has meant his name and value have soared, he is a very good investment artist and looks grate on the wall.

Samuel Bough 1822-1878 (Scottish water colour)
You can see why Samuel Bough is such a popular and widely collected artist, his stunning landscapes (and even more stunning skies) achieve high prices at auction and large price tags in private galleries. His artwork is regarded as a solid investment that will always have a keen market and will grow in value whilst you enjoy looking at it on your wall.

Renato Natali 1883-1979
Stunning example of his later work, you can see why his artworks are so popular here and in his native Italy. This has greatly increased his intonation appeal with his artwork demanding ever increasing amounts at auction.

Peter Le Vasseur 1938-
Peter Le Vasseur’s paintings depict strong images, often linked to environmental themes, and characterised by their intricate level of detail. In the past four decades he has gained international recognition. He has held exhibitions in Europe, the Middle East and the United States of America. This distinctive, charming painting shows the artists true skill at putting amazing levels of detail into his works of art, with his A-list clientele his price has only gone one way and is set to keep going that way so a perfect investment piece.

Colin Maxwell Parsons ‘Gathering Hay’
Colin Maxwell Parsons is one of the finest contemporary landscape artists in Europe. He has staged one-man exhibitions in the United States, Australia and the Channel Islands. This would not look out of place in one of the major galleries, with its proportioned, relative size it manages to fill a room with the sense of summer when hanging on a wall. He is a highly collectable artist in Europe and America and is a solid investment for the future.

Donald McIntyre 1923-2009
This is one of my personal favourites, it is wonderful peace of art. His almost unbelievable skill at painting at speed in the wilds of Wales and Scotland are on full show in this painting, this painting is thought to be in the Welsh mountains. His value has grown strongly and shows no sign of slowing down. This is not only a wonderful piece of art but a superb investment opportunity.

Wainwright original pen and ink drawings rarely come onto the market and when they do they are snapped up by eager collectors, the level of detail, subject matter and what book they are published in are the main yardstick as to what price tag to put on them. Wainwright’s most famous drawings fetch tens of thousands of pounds, I would say he is a sound investment.

Luis Wain 1860-1939
One of Britains most recognisable artists, this is a very beautiful example of Luis Wain work and quite remarkable that it has not been broken up into three separate pictures. I bought it from the world renowned Tennants Auctioneers in North Yorkshire who stated they were completely happy with the provenance and I am 100% happy with Tennants judgment.
