Bunnahabhain 18-year-old
This particular Bunnahabhain 18-year-old must have been bottled in the 1990s, which means the whisky inside must have been laid down in the early 70s and that means this is a really great whisky for the money. I can highly recommend this whisky which boasts aromas of fruit cake and malted barley alongside flavours of sweet cereal, ginger, molasses and nutmeg. Wonderful.

Whisky can be classed as rare in many ways and this one hits them all, its a 15-year-old distilled on the 19th of March 1981 it is from a single cask meaning there will be only 250 bottles of this particular whisky, (of which this is bottle 211) and to cap it all it comes from the exclusive distilling region of Auchentoshan in the lowlands of Scotland. This is a truly great investment piece or a very special present for a very lucky person.

This is an absolutely fantastic whisky it is a testament to the Glenmorangies of the past, it is the perfect closing of chapter. Becoming much rarer to see now even in the really high-end London specialist whisky dealers (who would add a few hundred on to what I am asking).
