No Liability

These Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Statement and any matter relating to ‘the site’ shall be governed by English law in particular the Licensing Act 2003 in relation to minimum legal age.
Any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions against or relating to us or any indemnified party under these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Viewing of Items
We are fully aware that for certain items you will wish to view before purchasing and we are more than happy to try to facilitate this, however due to security reasons we will have to insist on a public secure location for the viewing. Time also will have to be allowed for retrieving the item from secure storage and the item to be suitably packaging before a place and time can be arranged.
Product Condition, Availability and Pricing
We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information on ‘the site’. Should a product be unavailable, we will endeavour to inform you of this promptly. Prices and specifications can change without notice and products are subject to availability. Please be aware that where a product displayed on the website states ‘Web-Exclusive Price’, this means that the price quoted on the website is valid only for online orders and may differ from the item price for physical sales at our Hayward Antiques mobile stand.
Please note that with older bottlings, the cork/closure may have deteriorated, so care should be taken when opening. As such, we cannot guarantee the condition of a bottle’s closure and the item is sold as described.
From time to time, we may feature promotions or offers on ‘the site’. Each offer shall be subject to its own express terms and may not be available in all jurisdictions.
All special-offer prices and discounts shown on the website are inclusive. Orders being delivered to destinations outside of the European Union will receive an equivalent discount exclusive of Duty for all offers.
Any non-sterling prices displayed on the website are subject to constantly changing exchange-rate fluctuations, and as such may differ from one day to the next.
With engraved bottles and personalised labels, we reserve the right to cancel orders and refund payment for any messages or slogans we feel to be inappropriate.
Returns and Cancellations
RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be 100% happy with your order and it is our aim to ensure that all products supplied to all customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchasing (other than for perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable).
If you have received your order and are unhappy with any of the products ordered, we will happily refund your money the products provided that you inform us of your intention to return the products within 14 days from the date of your order being delivered. However, we will only reimburse the cost of returning items where they were delivered in error or the items were damaged beyond stated.
Any products must be returned to us in good condition and in the original packaging. All refunds will be paid within 14 days of receiving the returned product(s).
Please note that none of the items for sale at Hayward Antiques are new and, in some cases, will have been purchased at auction. Product images on the website are intended for illustrative purposes only and may not be exact representations of the item in stock, particularly for antique and/or discontinued products, which may not be in 100% perfect condition.
If an item is delivered in a faulty or damaged condition, you have a 30-day right to reject which begins from the date of ordering (for perishable products, this is limited to the best before date if this is sooner).
RETURNING ITEMS
You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective. You are also responsible for insuring all returns as we might claim against you should damages be sustained.
For all returns, please follow the following instructions to ensure that products are received in perfect condition and your returns can be processed quickly:
1. Return a copy of your invoice to us with the items that you are returning highlighted. Please note the quantity and reason(s) for return against each item on your invoice. Alternatively, you can download, print and complete and include it in your parcel
2. Please ensure to pack and seal your return securely in the original packaging to prevent possible damage while in transit and include the completed invoice.
3. Fix a return shipping label to the packaging. Make sure no other address labels are shown.
Cancellation Procedure
All non-business customers (that is, those customers who are not purchasing either wholly or in part for business use) have a right to cancel a contract (‘Contract’) in which they purchase merchandise (‘Products’) from us or withdraw their offer to purchase the Product(s) as applicable, at any time up to fourteen days from the date of your order being placed (‘The Cancellation Period’) unless the order includes products that have been personalised or that we have specified the products as being non-returnable.
To cancel your order, you must inform us in writing before the expiry of the cancellation period. If you have already taken delivery of the order, you should return the product(s) to us. Unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective, you will be liable for the full cost of returning the product(s) and will be responsible for any damage to the product(s) until we acknowledge receipt of the products. As such, you should ensure that the product(s) are adequately insured. You have a legal responsibility to keep the product(s) in your possession and to take reasonable care of the products until you return them to us. Should the product(s) show signs of damage or tampering, we may have a right against you for compensation. We retain the right to arrange for collection of the product(s) at your cost in the event that you have not returned the product(s) within 30 days of your notice of cancellation.
